When a mysterious, masked stranger came into town, and turned Bull Madison and a box of sworn statements over to the Sheriff, everyone was sure that it was the end of the outlaw's murderous career. The stranger had ridden away without explanation, but Bull Madison and the evidence remained in custody for Bull's day in court.
