Mary Blake was pleased to be working with the great scientist Dr Gregory Martin and on the first day everything about him and his household where she would be living and working seemed perfectly normal. He appeared to love his wife Lorna Martin but Miss Blake saw something in Lorna Martin that told her she was insecure and afraid. Later Miss Blake discovers that Gregory Martin has killed his wife by poisoning her and as he knows she has realized this he frames Mary as the killer.
