Statement Of Fact, A

The most lurid of crimes is the crime of passion. No mere bank robbery or stock swindle can compete for newspaper space with a nice juicy love nest murder. This story concerns itself with a murder which criminologists would classify as a crime of passion but director William N Robson feels it is just the opposite – a crime of
no passion, a negative murder committed because passion had fled and love was dead, a homicide without hope.
