A truck driver named Timothy Fearn carrying a load of valuable furs was held up in the highroad and brutally murdered. The police rounded up the entire hold-up gang and the first to go on trial for his life was twenty-year-old Vincent Carter who was charged with actually firing the fatal shot that killed Timothy Fearns. And then came the dramatic revelation that young Vincent Carter was the son of Steven Carter, prominent and respected lawyer who lived in a different city.
