Last Thursday, the NYPD received a call from a man with a tip-off and address of a property where they would find $100,000 of stolen rare gems. Then there was a gunshot and the line went dead. When the police got to the address, they found the body of Mr Robert Wells, and the gems concealed in a water pipe beneath the sink. His widow swears she knows nothing about it, and so could potentially gain possession of the gems in question...
