In spite of the fact that Squire Skimp cleaned the town out of all of the surplus cash by the sale of stock in the Great Western Sterling Silver Company Lum and Abner are doing quite well with their new grocery store on wheels, so well in fact that they’re extending their territory to some of the surrounding towns.
