Many a time, a farmer's plough has turned up a relic of a former day. But no relic has ever turned up more excitement or more danger to the Cisco Kid and his constant companion Pancho, than that uncovered by the plough of Jasper Vanables, who, as our story opens, is ploughing his river bottom land, just outside the south western of Wagon Gap.
