The Gildersleeve household seems to have faired pretty well during the summer. Marjorie has a nice tan, Leroy’s grown a couple of inches, Birdy the cook has gained a couple of pounds and ad for the great Gildersleeve himself, well he seems in rather good spirit, particularly for a man who’s tallying up his check book after summer vacation…
