Dr Augusta Sanderson's discovery of a new feed grass will mean that millions of starving people will prosper .However Dr Howell claimed all the credit for the discovery, the discovery which could have been the supreme achievement of her career and the chance of winning a Nobel prize. For taking that from her she felt that she would be justified in killing Dr Howell. However she is shocked when police call at her house the next day and tell her that Dr Eugene Howell has been murdered and she is a suspect.
