Fred Astaire in his original 1943 screen role of Jerry Burton a hero fighter pilot and Sharon Douglas as Jean a photographer and his love interest. The Director of The Sky’s The Limit film makes a guest appearance to introduce this romantic, comedy drama. He says, “The story of the war was being told and the Sky’s the Limit told part of it from the unique vantage point of a furlough in New York”.
