Lydia lived with her invalid twin sister Ellie. That afternoon Lydia was out shopping for a funeral casket that she required in three weeks for herself. She had no doubt in her mind that she would die in three weeks. Ellie thinks Lydia wants to die to get away from her because she hates her. Then Ellie realises that Lydia hates her so much that it is her who is going to die at the hands of her sister.
