Herbert Harrison doesn't like the big city and after a night out at the cinema with his wife the police sirens in the street just reinforce his desire to go back to the peace and quiet of Delville and their old friends. His wife Dorothy however loves the city and the way it makes her feel alive. One way or another she is determined to stay in the city with or without her husband.
