Daniel the 14-year-old boy who had proved to be his nephew was a source of satisfaction to the Lone Ranger. He admired Dan’s quick thinking, courage and eagerness to learn. Consequently the horsemen were now inseparable, the Lone Ranger, Tonto and Dan riding the wild trails of the high border country.
