Despite not feeling very well on account of a bad back Johnny Dollar, insurance investigator is keen to work on a case concerning “fingers” Larry Moody. Four years ago Fingers had worked in Merryman’s Department store in Chicago and walked off with nearly $10,000 which the insurance company had to make good on. At the time Johnny Dollar had followed every misleading clue he had left behind only for him to be picked up by the police who claimed the reward and then a solicitor got him off. Now a new lead on him had come up and Johnny Dollar was determined to solve this case.
