Sky King was originally a juvenile 15-minute daily serial western adventure but in 1947 it became a 30 minute complete story program. Sky King was America's favorite flying cowboy and in his plane the Songbird he would set off on adventures to exotic locations along with his niece and nephew putting wrongs to right.
