Our story begins on the night of August 5th, 1935, outside of Los Angeles, California in the peaceful little community of La Cañada. The summer night is scented with the haunting fragrance of orange blossoms, whose drifting petals somehow seem like falling tears. There's a strange sound which also seems to float on the air, like the echo of a weird rattle. We'll soon see what that is...
