Bing Crosby plays the part of college student Paul Lanton as he re-enacts the role he played on the screen for Paramount in Howard Lindsey’s rich comedy She Loves Me Not. Joan Blondell plays the part of chorus girl Curly Flagg who witnesses a gangland killing at the nightclub where she works. She is afraid to testify and runs away and finds herself at Princeton University where she meets Paul Lanton and manages to persuade him to help her out. Paul and his friend Buzz decide that they will dress her up in boys’ clothes as a disguise.
