Casey gets $15,000 from Talbot stand-in editor of the newspaper so that they can get some important information on Fitzroy from Sqint Hommel. However, when they arrive at the swap location Casey and Annie are knocked out and the money stolen. When they come to they discover Squint’s dead body in their car positioned to look as if Casey has killed him.
