Blind newspaper seller and small time criminal Poppy finds himself on the run when the syndicate passes a death sentence on him and the police refuse to give him protection when he won’t turn states evidence. He knows that if he can lead his pursuers to his territory, a dark warehouse, which he knows well, he will be able to outsmart them. However he was unaware that the building next door had been demolished.
