Just before Thanksgiving dinner young Maggie gets sent on an errand to her auntie's house. To get there she takes a short cut through Mr Kelly's Lot, which is a place where she and her friends often play. Today, things look a little different. She goes to investigate and hears a screaming woman - seemingly buried alive. Desperately Maggie hurries home to tell her parents but they do not believe her. They put it down to her over zealous imagination and say she's been reading too many comics. Maggie doesn't know what to do but knows that she is the only one who can do something to help the screaming woman.
