Ida Stewart has only been working in the bar for a week when Henry Gant insults her. Young Gil Barton defends her honor and when Marshall Matt Dillon intervenes Barton threatens to kill Gant one way or another. When Gant is killed Young Gil goes on the run like a scared kid.
