Cora meadows and her young son Tad witness a cold-blooded killing of a dying man as he sought refuge in their home. The killer tells them he will leave them if they remember that this was his business and the dead man Rourke. However Mrs Meadows is worried when her son goes missing, as she fears the brave little boy may have gone after the man.
