Every mother of a 10 year-old son develops a special talent a peculiar vocal ability to call back to the fold that busy boy whenever he’s needed. About to exhibit her particular style of boy calling is Harriet Bruce seeking her son Jimmy just prior to suppertime. Jimmy is in the garage with his friends practising the play he has written.
