Sabotage

Broadcast: 21st May 1952
Added: Dec 09 2011

Stories of the Silent Men, the special agents and law enforcers who silently and for little material reward daily risk their lives to protect the lives of all of us. Their tradition is long and proud yet to guard our welfare and our liberties they must remain nameless – The Silent Men

The events about to be related took place in May 1943. A stunned America is learning that defeat in war is possible. The enemy is striking telling blows not only on the battlefield but here at home. Acts of sabotage are becoming bolder, more frequent. This story tells of the near successful attempt to destroy the Atlantic fleet as it lay at anchor in the Hudson River.
