Mrs Watts lived in house with a room that was haunted and Mr Todd was planning to spend the night in it. One or two others had spent the night in the room over the years to disastrous consequences and now Mrs Watts was offering a £1000 to find out the truth of the haunted room. And this is how Ronald Todd bachelor aged 33 of Lansdowne Hotel began his journey in to the land that lies beyond midnight.
