Room for a Stranger

Broadcast: December 19, 1946
Added: Dec 19 2014

It was December 24th 1943 and Lieutenant Joe Scott injured Navy Flyer and was going to have his leg operated on in two days in the naval hospital. However right now he was happy because he was boarding a train to spend Christmas day with his girl. But then he received a telegram stating that his leave had to be canceled and that he had to report back to Great Lakes on Christmas day. However, thanks to the kindness of the people in one small town he has the best Christmas he ever knew.

Lovely heart warming story and Frank Sinatra sings part of Silent Night near the end of the story, wonderful!
