It's 11.45pm on a January night and detective Danny Clover is in his office when he receives a call from an anonymous caller. He spoke with urgency and told Clover to go to an address on 116th street. When Clover arrived he found a woman sitting there in shock like death playing the guitar and a man sprawled on the floor with a knife in his heart.
