The show is opened by Ken Carpenter, who introduces this week's Master of Ceremonies, Robert Young. He then introduces the wonderful orchestra of Charlie Spivak, who play Besame Mucho. There are then many acknowledgements from folks posted overseas, aswell as messages from home to the soldiers, before he introduces the favorite screwball of the RAF, comedienne Cass Daley.
