Three men reined their horses to a stop and watched the distant cloud of dust approaching on the trail to Broken Arrow. The men moved their horses off the trail so that they could see who it was heading in such a hurry to the town without being discovered. The rider was a young man, and so Sleepy Kennedy decided to go out and parley, due to the attractive colt he was riding.
