Before the episode begins we learn that It is  the 40th anniversary of The Army Air Forces and take a look back at the first six months of 1947 to learn what the Army Air Forces have been doing and some of their accomplishments.  Love these educational informative starts to the program.

 Resuming normal routine operations at their airport almost became involved in an accident when a a DC-4 cargo plane nearly collides with Hop's plane.  As we continue now its the following morning and Hop and Tank thrilling a crowd with an exhibition of aerobatics in celebration of Army Air-Forces Day.
