23rd April 1889. Holmes was commenting once again about the English weather. He is concerned that Josiah P. Emberlerly hasn't turned up yet. He has been sent to see Holmes by Inspector Lastrade of Scotland Yard and Holmes comments that it must be a hopeless case and that's why they've passed it on to him. At this point a cab pulls up outside no.221b Baker Street and a strange looking individual gets out. Watson comments that he looks bowed down with care, but Holmes' comment is more astute. He notes that he is no weakling. Take a look at those shoulders he says. The man knocks and Sherlock Holmes bids him enter.
