Carl Fisher has been an evil man for the past thirty years so when he dies he finds himself meeting with the devil Satan. Carl declares to Satan that he was forced into his wrong doings that he would never have made his millions if he hadn’t been so ruthless. He begged to be allowed to go back to let him prove that he could do right. Satan agrees to let him have 24 hours to do nothing but good and in return he will not return to claim him.
