Remembered Day

Remembered Day

Broadcast: February 11, 1946

It is the 18th November 1863, and for two days, hundreds of strangers have been coming into a Pennsylvania town. Much of the coming and going centers around the great house and the square. The house stands expectantly in the afternoon sun, and along the street on which the house stands, many of the strangers keep passing. In Washington DC, a special four car train has departed for the Pennsylvania town, and on it is Abraham Lincoln.
