Since Dick Huddleston explained to Lum why Abner had been taking the money from the circus Lum has been trying to see Abner to explain to him that he’s no longer mad at him. Abner hasn’t forgotten the threat that Lum made last week about what he was going to do to him when they met and has therefore been keeping his distance. Well yesterday they devised a plan of locking Abner in the store in order that he might explain but Abner dived through a plate glass window and made his escape.
