A high and rain soaked wind which had it’s beginnings somewhere in California swept through the border town of Colby in Arizona territory. Its force almost tore the swinging wooden sign from a low rambling building. In all the years the border jumpers, thieves and outlaws had made this place their headquarters it’s doubtful that anyone had ever stopped to read that sign. It is cracked, dim and faded by many nights of storms yet in the blinding glare of a lightening flash two words stood out in bold relief, Rattlesnake Inn…
