This is the story of a block avenue, and the people who were on it, on the evening of July 22nd 1934. The street is named Lincoln Avenue, and if you're from Chicago, you've probably heard of it. The number of the block was 2400, and there was a theater, a national tea company store, two garages, a restaurant and a saloon - nothing usual - just a piece of street in Chicago. And what of the people? Well they were real people that night in 1934, and what happened that night was real too.
