Johnny Dollar is involved in a case concerning the son of millionaire Ellis Rasmusson. Federal underwriters of Hartford underwrote a blanket policy for all Imperial Rubber Company employees. Mr Rasmusson’s son was an executive with Imperial when he was killed in Malaya last spring. Federal owes his widow $25000 and Johnny Dollar was trying to track her down. Mr Rasmusson does not know of her whereabouts and has sadly never met her. He was himself unhappy that she had never tried to contact him after his son had died as he wanted to meet the woman his son had married especially now as he was not well.
