As our story opens, we find the Lone Ranger without his mask, but with his face well disguised for he and his faithful Indian companion, Tonto, are riding along a familiar trail. The Lone Ranger has determined that they won't leave the Pecos area until the lawlessness is ended, but no sooner has he said the words when a mustang and rider race towards them. It's young Jack, who once saved the Ranger's life. But he is being chased by the Sheriff... For murder!
