When Jim Mason, Canada's most famous dog trainer, died, he left his kennels to his daughter Judy, who soon found that whilst she had inherited her father's dogs, she had not inherited his reputation. In response to a letter, Sergeant Preston and his great dog King, dropped in to see Judy when making a patrol to the town of Porcupine where she lived. After a cordial reception, she asked Sergeant Preston about another dog trainer, named Duggan.
