This recording has been taken from radio after 1989 and before the story begins has Parley Baer remembering his good friend Ben Wright who died on 2nd July 1989. Ben Wright had previously acted as the Host for this 1980's rerun of Sherlock Holmes stories and did play Sherlock Holmes in 1947 as the good detective in The Case of the Egyptian Curse.
