Dr Watson’s medical training had given him some preparation for the many faces of death that on several investigations with his friend Sherlock Holmes he had reason to be grateful.

Young Lord Saltire is missing from the Priory School along with his German tutor. As Sherlock and Holmes search the nearby woods they discover the poor German fellow 5 miles away with his skull crushed. He had been brutally murdered. It was not a thing a 10 year old boy could do but where was Lord Saltire?
