Well, another day has passed and nothing has been learned about the young woman who left her baby in Lum and Abner's care and then disappeared. The old fellows have decided that if she does not return today, they're going to take the baby to the county seat, and place him in the charge of the police. As we look in on the little community today, it is late in the day and the old fellows are getting ready for their trip to the county seat.
