The eminent scientist Professor Baker is sitting in his study late one night when there is a knock at the door. Thinking it is Cooper, his butler, he invites him in, but it isn't Cooper, it's a hard guy with a gun. The unwelcome guest shoots him dead then leaves with something that his boss wants. Why did this man kill Professor Baker and why does he say that the people of the city will wish they were dead?
