Deep in the water front section of the city there lays a condemned slum area the streets dark and deserted lined with empty crumbling tenements. In a grimy tenement deep within a masked man sits in a hidden room and plays solitaire. This is the sinister master of crime known as The Ace of Spades who leaves a playing card at the scene of his murderous crimes.
