By profession Maisie Revere was in show business but she’ll take any job she can get including working on a farm. Jet Parker the farmer tells Maisie she can stay as long as she likes. Despite their age difference the farmer’s young son, Timmy asks Maisie if she would like to go the high school dance then a neighbor Ronald Thornton turns up and introduces himself and tells Maisie about his love interest Joan Hooper. Mrs Hooper is rather upper crust and will not agree to her daughter marrying a simple farmer. Maisie finds herself playing cupid to get Ronald and Joan together.
