Lum and Abner now have a projection machine for their forthcoming motion picture theater. Remodeling of the old cotton warehouse is progressing quite well now, and today, they hope to make a deal with Grandpappy Spears to rent his piano for the theater. As we look in on the little community today, we find the old fellows in their store and library, waiting for Grandpappy.
