Tonight's show is a salute to a Broadway hit musical. In the small hours of the morning after a Broadway opening night, the custom among the theatrical acting folk is to gather at a particular restaurant and wait for the early bird editions of the newspapers which will carry the critics notices of the newly opened play. Among the actors, dazed and happy grins spread across each face, as not since Oklahoma had the critics been so universally united in their praise. The new musical, Plain and Fancy, was a hit!
