Laura Kane has been receiving single red roses at her home night after night with no note or clue as to who they are from. She is very distressed and goes to Simon Templar for help. Her first husband was killed a number of years ago and the police never found out who killed him but when his body was found there was a red rose pinned to his shoulder.
