The Japanese Admiral, Himakito, has discovered the course that Captain Midnight is flying, and has turned his aircraft carrier towards the Philippine island of Mindanal. He's also warned all Japanese air bases to intercept the Secret Squadron plane. In the meantime, Captain Midnight and his ace agents Chuck Ramsay, Joyce Ryan and Ichabod Mudd, are continuing their desperate flight from South China, and have found themselves over dense jungle and craggy mountains, near the center of Mindanal.
