The bandits and highway men of the old west who were brought to justice by United States Marshall Wild Bill Hickok and his deputy Jingles were of many kinds. Some were hard cases who specialized in robbing trains and stagecoaches, some were slick gamblers in expensive dress but there was one who gave a wild Bill and Jingles a wild hair raising time of it with death a constant threat from Phantom of the Gold Circle.
